Recently, the Home Office has announced that the furlough Scheme for Tier 2 Sponsor Licence holders. According to this scheme, the Tier 2 Sponsor Licence holder can temporarily reduce the salary of sponsored employees. However, the Home Office is yet to announce any concession for Tier 2 Visa holders. In this case, Tier 2 General visa holders have upper hands where they can switch to another UK Visa category while legally staying in the UK. Unfortunately, those who are under the Tier 2 Intra company transfer scheme, cannot avail of this advantage.
